Game / Full-StackProof: Architecture
Clash of Adventurers -- Full-Stack MMO
Server-authoritative MMO with UE5 client, crafting systems, wiki service, and bot-driven community management.
The Challenge
Building a complete MMO as an indie developer -- game server, client, wiki, website, bots, and marketing.
Constraints
- Server-authoritative gameplay required for cheat prevention
- Content pipeline needed to scale without a full art team
- Wiki and item data must stay in sync with game builds
Technical Decisions
- UE5 with GAS (Gameplay Ability System) for server-authoritative gameplay
- C++ for performance-critical game logic, Blueprints for content iteration
- Next.js WikiService for managing item databases and exposing them to players
- Python bridge scripts for exporting game data to the web
Highlights
- Server-authoritative crafting system with 5 profession branches
- Multi-storage inventory system (MainStorage, EquipmentStorage, TradePocket, Warehouse)
- Player-to-player trading with server-side validation
- Smart spawner for NPC/enemy management
- Full wiki service with admin CRUD, pipeline sync, and item search
Results
- End-to-end MMO infrastructure built and operational
- 918-line technical documentation for the crafting system alone
- Automated content pipeline from game data to public wiki
